System Engineer, GEOINT Collection Architecture Expert (EM30-003)

Full Time - Springfield, Virginia / Ft Belvoir area

Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret SCI

Mission: Serves as GEOINT collection architecture subject matter expert and a Intelligence Community Special Access Program analysis expert for G Futures Division.


Skills and Experience

    Required

  • An active DoD Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.
  • Twenty (20) years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience supporting DoD and Intelligence Community studies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the IC.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience supporting planning, programming and budgeting, and acquisition decisions.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a business or engineering related field.
  • Desired

  • Graduate degree in business or engineering a related field.
  • Demonstrated specialized Government agency or military staff experience.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with NATIONAL GEOINT and the functional management of GEOINT.
  • Demonstrated familiarity, and at least six years of experience working with Community Special Access Programs.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Mission Partner collectors and architecture, and future architecture plans, with a focus on electro-optical, spectral, and radar systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists in the development of the Collection Platform Situational Awareness Group (CPSAG) document, on a bi-weekly basis, or as frequently as the document is produced.
  • Participates in pertinent collector and phenomenologic meetings and sessions.
  • Develops NATIONAL GEOINT and NSG studies’ Terms of References (TORs), Study Plans, Interim Reports, and Final Reports.
  • Provides the Government advance and objective insight into program issues, execution risks, and corrective actions.
